Michael Bivins Interviews Glen "Big Baby" Davis

Direct From the "What Might Only Interest Me and TD" Department, Michael Bivins (yes, that Michael Bivins) has been putting in work for a little tv network known as TNT. TNT, which broadcasts NBA games a couple times a week, apparently has employed Bivins to interview NBA players and provide a behind-the-scenes view on life in The Association. For the latest vignette, the local R&B crooner nabbed one of my current favorite Celtics, Glen "Big Baby" Davis.

The Biggest of Babies has quickly turned into a local legend in this his rookie year for the Boston Celtics. He may only be averaging 4.5 points and 2.7 rebounds per game, but he's getting way more minutes than preseason prognosticators predicted. With his catchy nickname, his gleeful grins, and his impressive agility, Davis and his teammates have staved off the winter doldrums of many a Celtic fan this year, including yours truly.

So what does 1/5 of New Edition have to say to a 6' 8" 310 lb. baby? Watch the video to find out : http://www.tnt.tv/dramavision.jsp?oid=38691

Flannel Thong

Maybe the first track on a future grunge mix????

Low Spiritz

A remix of Flo-rida's Low featuring a lot of DJ Sega's Teen Spirit.

Iggy, Mike Watt Do Madonna

Last night, Madonna, along with Leonard Cohen and John "I think the next song I write will be about the U.S.A." Mellencamp were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Remember that bitching rock record Madonna kicked out a few years back? What was it called? "Erotica" I think. And who can forget that killer guitar solo she did on "Vogue". What a rock legend.

To commemorate the first lady of rock and her induction, Iggy, Mike Watt and some other dudes performed "Burning Up" and "Ray of Light" (video evidence posted below)

Some really neat stuff happens at the end of the second video. A camera follows Iggy backstage to the kitchen(?) where he's greeted and thanked by Madonna. Iggy goes on to describe the band's versions of her songs as "downtown".
