Rock Insiders: "Mark E. Moon To "Strut His Stuff" This Saturday"

Riding the success of his first ever myspace mini-mix, the dashing yet secretive Mark E. Moon displays his beguiling talents this satruday at the Middle East Upstairs. Mark E. will be blending and bending grooves and backing beats for the party armada known as Big Digits. Typical big digit beats are layered with ciara and kelis hooks, reggeaton umbrage, and comedy record laugh tracks. Plus, it's all improv! The BD duo themselves don't even know what's coming next. See it all unfold for yourself this saturday, 3/31, along with Northeast Performer pin-up soulster George Lewis, Jr. (of Mad Man Films) and the new experimental electro up-and-comer Yeah U Can Dance.
Doors are at nine, so is the cost, and 18+ age limits apply.

they get younger and younger

wow. i've been trying trying to think think think about what to write in this post. i've known i was gonna write about teenager for a while, but i couldn't figure out what or why.

but what i figured out was that i both a) have known since i first heard this shit and b) will never know.

no but seriously, it is a mix of dead-simple, to-the-point, pop songwriting, traditional vocal/guitar based rock sound, and electronic undercurrents. but that might be a biased look, since that description exactly fits a new project/band I'm working on(watch out folks). anyway it is one of those LPs where just about all the songs are great in their own way. not some kind of "every song it the same except one of them is way better and that is the hit" albums. the tracks are all over the place. "luke and angie" being the only real letdown, i don't even usually skip it. and i have listened to this album tons of times.

this at the point where it sounds like they are paying me, so i'll cut to the chase.

go to the myspace and then download these additional tracks:

teenager - good together
teenager - bound and gagged

UPDATE: LINKS FIXED, thanks M.E.Moon
