Never Been to Japan

This is my first attempt at a straight up dance track. The glitchy female cut-up vocals sound like she's saying "Osaka." So, by fate or by accident, this is dedicated to you, oh great city of Osaka.

no.1 - "osaka"

there is so much great stuff that has come out lately

THUNDERDOME is tonite, and while i was going through my crates, i also found these (that i probably won't play tonite):

They_Came_From_the_Stars_I_Saw_Them-Its_Time(Gay_Masters_Discomix).mp3
I_Was_A_Cub_Scout--Pink_Squares(Radio_Edit).mp3
thieves_like_us-drugs_in_my_body.mp3
the_teenagers-Fuck_Nicole(SLUTTT_Ketateen_Remix).mp3

also check out the album by the teddybears called soft machine. the single, cobrastyle, happens to suck balls, but there are a bunch of other great tracks.

also just wanted to note that my window is open and there is someone sawing or something and it sounds great along with music

Check out this killer mini video of starchitect and superhero Rem Koolhaas by Sarah Dunbar (an MIT grad student who also happens to be Aaron Understanding's fiancee) featuring music by the band "Big Digits".

Thunderdome is 4 hours, 2 floors, 2 live acts, and 7 DJ's of utter insanity on Friday, November 17th at the Elks Lodge in Cambridge. Playing Thunderdome is some of the rowdiest talent New England has coughed up from its post-industrial, pre-condo lungs; including Redd Foxx, Mistaker, Baltimoroder, Morgan Louis, David Day, Scotty Bliss, MicL PTVN DJ'ing plus San Serac and Triangle Forest playing live.

LOCATION:
The Elks Lodge is located at 55 Bishop Allen Rd in Cambridge; one block away from Central Sq. Right next to TD's place and across the street from my place. The night begins at 9pm and it is $7 to get in. But don't worry about your debit card getting overdrawn, the Elks has real cheap beer and much cheaper drinks. RSVP/INFO to list@mistaker.net for all your financial planning needs.

Once inside, there are two dancefloors operating all night; (The downstairs rave floor is 21+. Sorry, that one's not up to us. You did VOTE didn't you?) But overall, expect zero club bullshit.

WHHAAT?! Two Floors?

Yep. Two.

Post-Apocalyptic Ballroom
UPSTAIRS [12am-2am]
# Redfoxx (Properazzi, Hearthrob)
# Mistaker (Properazzi, Brilliant Mistake)
# Baltimoroder (Hearthrob, MiN, PanAm)

Live Acts! [10pm-12am]
# Triangle Forest (Providence)
# San Serac (Output Records)

The Rave
DOWNSTAIRS [10pm-2am]
# David Day (sQuare Productions, MiN)
# Morgan Louis (POP!, Hearthrob)
# Scotty Bliss (Soul Circuit)
# MicL PotVin (Compound 440R, C4RT)

BONUS:
Did we mention live VJ's? Or that there will be a private VIP reception in the Rave Room featuring complimentary Bushmills Whisky from 10-11pm? Yezzur. Plus, in anticipation of sweat-drenched outfits and lost underwear, our good friends at KarmaLoop are hooking up RSVP's with $10 gift certificates to help you get your wardrobe back on track. But you gotta RSVP to list@mistaker.net and mention this email to get on the list.

THIS IS GOING TO BE THE PARTY OF THE YEAR BOSTON!

And yes, it is going to sell the fuck out so RSVP already.
Do it! list@mistaker.net

PS: note from me (micL) you can bring your friends and show up even if you don't get a chance to RSVP. but if you can, do it, cause it will be better for ya!
