Step into the Village

As the weather turns the thermostat up and the activity level down, some of us here at 440 turn to thoughts of cleaning and california. The convergence of these wintery ideas brought me a 7 inch that I got the first time Big Digits went out west (and also found while cleaning what was a total disaster of a room) by the ear wrecking Foot Village. Foot Village is a four piece all drums/shouts outfit out of the underrated/overhated realm of Los Angeles and my favorite of all of Brian Miller(head of Deathbomb Arc)'s multitude of projects. Not loose enough to be a drum circle but not tight enough to be a marching band, Foot Village plays a multi-use drumkit pictured above that allows for reverbiration of sound (and pattern) throughout all the players. It is awesome, and it will help you clean and stay warm.
