2007 is looking better

i woke up on the first afternoon of the year and felt like absolute shit. i've been sick since, i've been flat broke, my best friend ibook is broken., and my middle finger is fucked, but apparantly not broken. anyway, things are on the up and up.

the first sign of saving 2007 came to me in the form of a child's drink: juiceboxxx at hearthrob. along with (what looked to be his dj) dre skull, they absolutely killed it at middlesex. on "stage" (which was a cocktail table at the time) he announced he would have his new cd "tomorrow". which sucked. the old CD was no where to be found either, except maybe over at oink, of course. anyway here's the new track for ya (via fluo kids)

ever get psyched for an LP that you want to like yet you kind of know it is probably gonna suck? it is called myth takes by !!!. i dunno maybe it is ok, i'll come back to it, but for now i've found my !!!/outhud fix through a canadian band called shout out out out out. it's no streetdad, but a lot of vocoders, and many band members, who seem to all play drums sets, basses, and keyboards all at the same time or something. i hear they kill live.

and if you've kept up on this space, you probably know how much i cant' stand that reggae stuff or whatever it is on the teddybears record. from what i understand, they are pushing one of those tracks as a single. puke. until i found the robyn version. saved. she's buddies with these guys, maybe she's trying to hint to them to ditch that shit?
